Merry Christmas!

Once again, it is the time of year to wish our readers Greetings of the Season.

This is a very special season: it is Christmas! But the true meaning of the season has been been nearly lost, or at best greatly diluted, by politics and commercialism.

To this old Iowa farm boy, it is almost unbelievable that our leaders are so concerned about "offending" someone—anyone— that the mere mention of anything that contains, hints at, or outright states anything about Christ is well hidden.

But we know the real reason for Christmas and I'm willing to bet that you do, too.

Christmas is a time to appreciate those whom we love and who love us, be they friend, neighbor, or relative. Lime Springs has a lot of folks we can appreciate!

Christmas is a time to sit back and enjoy the peacefulness of a fresh layer of snow or of your latest family member laying there in the crib with a nice fuzzy blanket, totally relaxed and sound asleep.

And Christmas is a time when Pat and I wish all of the readers of The Lime Springs Page Peace, Joy, and Happiness and thank them for using The Lime Springs Page to keep in contact with their roots.
